Rotary Club of Jodhpur Padmini celebrated Teachers Day 2017

Teachers are true Nation Builders as they raise the future of citizens of the country. They are the real holders of knowledge, enlightenment and wisdom, using which they nourish, nurture and prepare us for our life.
Rotary Club of Jodhpur Padmini celebrated Teachers Day 5th September 2017 at Hotel Chandra Imperial with educationists from 27 government schools in and around Jodhpur.
As a prelude to this day, our members conducted an evaluation survey in 27 schools according to RILM guidelines. We interviewed the Principal and 10 students of each school to identify their outstanding teacher for the Nation Builder Award.
The teachers were honoured with certificates, letters of appreciation and tokens of our respect. We also felicitated the principals of the schools.
Dr. Soniya Sharma, ADPC-RMSA graciously agreed to be the Chief guest for the evening and presented the certificates to the awardees. Also present at the celebration were teachers from our Interact schools.
Several fun games were organised for the teachers and it was good to see them let down their hair for once and participate wholeheartedly.
